I worked for 13 years at Keller High School as a Life Skills paraprofessional. I worked with a large number of Special needs students including down syndrome, autism, prayer-willi syndrome and behavioral disorders etc. We would model, modify and adapt a task for students who may needs adjustments to a task due to ability level. We went above and beyond in helping maintain the structure and the integrity of the classroom at all times. When I went to work everyday is was exciting, different and challenging!! The best part of my job was seeing our students overcome adversity!! I have lived in Keller Texas for 13 years and have 2 daughters who went to High School. My husband and I have 2 dogs!! I like to walk, cook, and go to the beach!!!
