About Kalena

Hello! My name is Kalena, and I'm a 26-year-old childcare professional with experience working as a classroom assistant at a French immersion Montessori school. In this role, I supported children in a bilingual, child-led learning environment that fostered independence, curiosity, and respect. I loved helping guide students through hands-on activities and supporting their growth in both English and French. While I truly enjoyed the structure and rhythm of the preschool setting, I also love to just play and be silly with children-connecting through laughter, imagination, and everyday moments of joy. I'm currently studying Botany and have a deep passion for sharing plant knowledge with children. Leading nature walks and encouraging kids to explore the natural world brings me so much joy. I especially value the chance to spark a lifelong appreciation for plants and the environment in young learners.
