About Kala

I am an unlicensed child care provider which means that I took classes that helped me to better understand and communicate with children and also the proper way to ensure a healthy, positive and energetic environment. I have High scope training certificates to verify and also I am CPR and First-aid certified. I cared for up to 5 children at one time on a daily basis and up to 6 on special occasions. My youngest child was 6 months, the second three were all 2 years old, my next youngest was 4 years old and my oldest was 5 years old. The services I provided were overseeing the children, creating daily activities to promote light exercise, healthy eating and basic morals like incorporating the children in tasks such as light housekeeping to teach them the importance of cleaning up after themselves. This job is for me because I feel that children are our future and any chance that I get to contribute a helping hand is a chance to make a meaningful impact.
