About Kaitlyn

I have my bachelors in biology and am currently working as a high school science teacher for the SKSD. I am endorsed in integrated science, biology, math and ESOL (english language learning). Prior to being a teacher, I worked in healthcare. I also worked as teacher for homeschoolers through a special program at George Fox University. I am sure many of you are also experiencing the unknowns of distance learning, just like me! I love helping students and would love some more opportunities to do so. Preferably looking to help your student virtually. As I am familiar with the curriculum and online programs that schools will be using, I will be able to help your student easily navigate their distance learning. I will still be meeting with my own classes. However, if you are looking for someone to help tutor your older students (MS & HS) who are able to go to their lessons on their own but would need the additional support outside the direct 1:1 teacher time, please reach out!
