I frequently sit for my own nieces and nephews (oldest is now 7) and have occasionally sat for friends' kids. I enjoy arts and crafts, dressing up, playing both indoor and outdoor, and have my own transportation. Most of my experience is, admittedly, unpaid since it's been for family and friends, but between that and both 4-H volunteer experience as a club co-leader and young family outreaches at my church, I do have experience interacting with and entertaining children of any age.

This young woman is a national treasure. We hired Kaitlin to help with our 1 yo during our three week stay in NJ. She was always on time, super involved with the baby ( worked on her language development, social interactions, sang to her), kept her safe, fed, changed, etc. Always left the play space, high chair, etc. clean. But most importantly, she genuinely enjoyed being with my daughter which is at the core of any successful family-caregiver relationship. Kaitlin is in her 20's , has good common sense and is very capable, which is a hit or miss with younger sitters. If we lived in NJ, I would use Kaitlin all the time and would recommend her without any reservations
