My vast experience in tutoring is worth fulfilling. I've tutored my grandchildren and they perform good in school. A good motivation and encouragement for a child to study and establish self-confidence is needed. Then, it can be followed by what is the goal for the child, is it to be advance beyond the present level or is there a need for improvement? I help in the homework so that I can reinforce what they are learning in school can be practiced at home. My goal for my student is for them to keep up with the course work and gain an academic advantage. You must also be familiar with the child style of learning, like does she learn better by seeing, reading, doing or listening? So, tutoring is a teamwork for parents, child & tutor. With effective communication, well-planned goals and some advance preparation, it will always become an outstanding tutoring session.
