I am a registered nurse, who chose to retire from my active career of 25 years to care for my dying mother and 3 teenage growing sons. I worked extensively in the Neonatal ICU and the Pediatric ICU in Austin. My early career started out as a triage nurse in our local pediatrician's office. I'm recently choosing to return to school for a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, which will allow me to explore and implement play therapies with special needs children. Presently I am seeking a part time position to work with a loving family who desires and understands the importance of "therapeutic recreation". I am energetic, positive and happily upbeat because I am doing what I love to do. I will follow your lead as to plans for time spent together. Compassion for the family all together is my foundation.

I have known Julie for 25 years. She is one of the kindest, most compassionate people I know. She's creative, cheerful, and would make an excellent caregiver for anyone.
