About Julie

Hello! My name is Julie , and I am a 31-year-old, positive and energetic care-giver with 10 years of experience as a high school English/Language Arts teacher. I have five younger siblings and tons of experience caring for children as well as pets. I babysat regularly throughout middle school, high school, and college, and worked as a Youth organization summer camp counselor prior to beginning my teaching career. I am first aid, CPR, and AED certified. I was a member of the Land O Lakes Lightning swim team as a child, and completed the American Red Cross lifeguard certification course before working at Adventure Island as a lifeguard for two seasons. I can provide tutoring for elementary aged children in all subject areas, and Reading/Writing/Listening/Speaking tutoring for middle/high school aged children. I'm very comfortable with pets of all types: cats, dogs, birds, fish, horses, reptiles, snakes, spiders, and rodents. I have the most experience caring for cats and dogs.
