About Julie

I raised my two children that are now college graduates and was fortunate to be a full time mother. I was a foster parent for twin boys from an abusive, neglectful background which presented many challenges and the learning of new skills. I know my time with them made a positive impact on their lives. I recently worked as a nanny for a family in Wellesley, MA, and really enjoyed the experience. I worked for years caring for large estates in various capacities including shopping, gardening, cooking, cleaning, animal care, etc. I enjoyed the diversity. Caring for children is something I enjoy and I realize the trust and responsibility entrusted in me by the parents. I enjoy the diversity of western Massachusetts and am a open minded woman that enjoys many types of people.

We are so lucky to have found Julie! She began caring for our daughter when she was 12 months and was calm, patient, and kind she built trust with our slow-to-warm-up child. They became fast friends and always have a blast together, singing, reading, exploring outside, and going on walks (with our dog, too, who loves Julie just as much as the humans do). I also appreciate Julie’s good instincts—she knows when to follow our daughter’s lead and when to help guide her. She’s just the best!
