About Julia

Hello! My work experience began at Bennett's Educational Materials in Santa Barbara where I worked as Manager for many years. It was here that I met a mother of twins and added Nanny/Home-school tutor to my repertoire. With the help of an Education Therapist I worked to develop individualized curricula for each twin who struggled to learn in traditional school settings. This was where I discovered my talent for teaching children to love learning. By presenting information in a way that spoke to their learning style the twins thrived! Since then I have had the opportunity to work with several other families in both a nanny and educator capacity. With students learning at home this school year I would love to lend my experience where I can as either support throughout online studies or by organizing engaging classes for curious kids.
