About Julia

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, organized, patient, and compassionate. I have been babysitting for 9 years consistently. Throughout high school, I worked as a tutor for elementary school kids and later got a job working at an after school program for K-8 students. For 3 years, I worked as a part-time caregiver for a 9-year-old with cerebral palsy, as well as her younger brother. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am currently applying to pediatric or neonatal nursing jobs. I am looking for either summer positions, or regular part-time babysitting jobs (i. e. date night, flexible part-time, a couple days a week). In my spare time, I like to crochet, read, and bake. My skills include medically complex childcare (feeding tubes, central lines, respiratory therapy, mobility help, non-verbal child, allergies), meal preparation, and facilitating developmentally appropriate activities.
