I recently graduated from the honors college at SUNY New Paltz with a major in Psychology and minors in deaf studies, disaster studies and social justice educational studies. I am attending graduate school this fall to get my Masters in Social Work. I have lots of experience with kids, including individuals with special needs. Additionally, I am a volunteer with The Children's Tumor Foundation. I've been around kids my whole life. I have two younger siblings, an older brother, and nine younger cousins! We loved having Julia as our son's caregiver. She was so warm and caring, and more importantly, so much FUN! Our son still talks about her years later, and looks forward to seeing her on visits. In addition, she brought so much knowledge around disability, and was always willing to try new things and share her knowledge. She is curious, thoughtful, and I would recommend her absolutely!
