Hello parents! My name is Julianne and I going into my fourth year at UC Santa Cruz. I'm studying Psychology here, and hoping to pursue a focus in child development. I would like to eventually get into social work with women and children, so if anyone is willing to share some advice or personal experiences, I would love to hear. I have been working professionally with children for about five years now, and gained most of my experience at a daycare with infants and toddlers. I also have extensive experience in teaching physical activities to kids including swimming, dance, volleyball, and soccer. I am very free spirited, playful, and compassionate, and I continuously work to incorporate these qualities into each job provided to me. Julianne is amazing! We are both certified teachers, and would invite Julianne into our home any time, any day. My daughters want to invite her to Christmas, Hanukkah, on vacation, and to school. Julianne is gentle in her manner but also not afraid to be firm. She navigates sibling skirmishes between my two girls and keeps my 1st grader on track with schoolwork, online meetings, and "body breaks." She makes sure that my girls get outside, that they eat healthy snacks, and shows genuine interest in them and their lives. She helps us with light housework and reorganized our hugely disorganized art table. We are so lucky to have found Julianne! On my phone, I have a unicorn emoji for Julianne because that's how we feel-she's a unicorn! She's all that a parent could wish for, and all that a kiddo could wish for, and we are so grateful to Julianne!
