I left Brazil and came to the USA 4 years ago as an au pair, and since then I've been watching kids between 6 months old and 12 years old. While I was an Au pair, I've worked with two different families. I've spent one year living with each one of them and had great experiences with both and now I've been working as a nanny since I got married in December of 2019. Before I came to the USA I used to work as a ballet teacher for kids, at dance studios and regular schools and that was a very special season in my life, I've always had a lot of fun with them. I'm also graduated in Fine Arts by the University of São Paulo in Brazil so Arts and crafts are usually part of the activities that I do with older kids. Juliana has worked for my family, caring for my one year old for about 8 months. She is, in a word, wonderful. She is incredibly reliable, responsible, and easy to work with but more importantly, she is great with my son and he absolutely adores her. She has a lot of experience with children and is intuitive and knowledgeable about their needs. She's sweet and creative and takes my son for fun walks and adventures in the yard and teaches him new things. She truly bonds with and cares for the kids she works with (and I think it's so nice that she often talks lovingly about the other children she has cared for). My son went through a period of separation anxiety and would freak out when I left, but she dealt with it so perfectly--she was calm and loving and always quickly comforted him. She's also just a really lovely person to have around your home. I really really like her and never worry about my son when he's with her. She has never been late. I couldn't recommend her more.
