I've been fostering and/or owning dogs and cats for over 90% of my life- dogs and cats with all sorts of needs and personalities. I understand when dog or cat owners have "big" requests. No request is too great for a fur baby. I work 20-30 hours per week from home, so I am flexible if a rigorous schedule is needed. I have a well-behaved 3. 5-year-old- if I am house-sitting she stays at home with her dad. At the moment, I can't care for dogs that do a lot of pulling. Minimal pulling is totally fine - I can always be ready for the occasional squirrel chase or anxious moment! I had a flare up from a past injury from an untrained dog and need to not be continuously pulled on walks. For those wanting to board your dog: Our senior pup does not love certain breeds. He wouldn't hurt another dog but since he's old we'd like him to feel extra comfy in his home. Most of the time I know who he'd feel okay with just by learning the breed or seeing a picture, I'm also happy to meet up prior.
