About Joy

I like caring for seniors because I enjoy helping people feel their lives have meaning. I like to make each person feel they are valued. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my skills in caregiving to provide companionship, light housekeeping, and whatever needs attention. I started caring for seniors when I was in my twenties working at the Holland Home. I worked in dementia care and then in recreation therapy. More recently I worked in private senior care as a companion and found it very rewarding as I made a difference with each visit. One thing you should know about me is that I have experience in senior care and I have a big heart. I also have excellent references. My skills include providing companionship, excellent communication, and attention to needs.
