About Joy

Hi, I'm Joy! I have my associate's in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in pre-school, and I'm currently working on getting my bachelor's in Special education/childhood (online). I've spent over 10 years in the childcare industry, from babysitting to nannying to being a teacher, and I've learned a lot over the years. I enjoy working with children of all ages and can assist in meeting and exceeding developmental milestones. I'm always ready to lend a helping hand when needed. I love doing fun educational activities to stimulate physical, social, and cognitive development. I can add on to what the parents are already teaching the child to reach and exceed developmental milestones. I am a very loving, patient, warm, dependable, trustworthy, and outgoing person. I'm a hands-on person, so there will be lots of activities and trips around the city (if allowed). Nurturing young minds is very kind and very patient, and you have to be willing and ready to go on the journey.
