I have been working in the Home Health Industry for the past 35 years. In addition to being self employed, I worked for Home Instead Senior Care and Bayada earning Certifications in Personal Care, Dementia Care, Infection Control, Transferring and FIrst Aid and Safety. I was also employed by Childway Pediatrics working with trach, vent, and children with cancer. I earned an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting, and I am a CNA. Working with the elderly is very rewarding from the joy they express at the beginning of your day with them to the gratitude they give to you. They have much wisdom and lots of life experience. It is so nice to see how many children of the elderly love and care for their parents enough to seek home care and facilitate them to stay in their home where they are most comfortable and feel more independent.

Joyce has been an absolute blessing to our family. She was initially hired to help care for both of my parents, and has continued on after the passing of my father. She is quick to respond and has excellent ideas on ways to support my aging parents. Joyce has a fantastic way of getting those who may be more set in their ways to engage in healthy activities such as bathing, eating, and movement. She is respectful and caring. Joyce helps to monitor medical concerns and takes steps to insure a well rounded care plan is in place. Our family is beyond thankful for Joyce and would absolutely recommend her to anyone with an aging family member in need of support.
