I have been a college professor for over 19 years, teaching such subjects as political science, history, and sociology. I worked as a tutor for a college for 10 years, primarily with English, but also political science and history. In terms of tutoring young people (grades 6 through 12, and college students) I would be best at tutoring what might be called Social Studies, encompassing U. S. and Western history, American government, International Relations, etc. I love tutoring because of that great feeling when you know the student understands - when they get it.
