About Johanna

My name is Johanna, nickname Jojo. I am 23 years old. I worked at Kindercare for 3 years, ages 0-5. I have also worked as a nanny caring for a 1-year-old, 6-year-old, and 9-year-old for the past nine months. I create screen free routines to keep children actively engaged. I take the toddler for activities offered at the library, to the indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and playdates with children their age. In terms of development, I have experience incorporating Montessori activities into the routine to promote independence. We work on fine motor skills using different toys. I work on language skills through songs, gestures and reading. I am experienced with gross motor development as the toddler I work with was delayed in walking and standing. I took her to physical therapy and did daily strengthening exercises with her; she has now met all of her milestones. I hope to have the privilege of working with your family!
