My experience caring for those with special needs started at an early age. My sister had a brain injury as an infant and throughout my life she has taught me to be patient, responsible and dedicated. I volunteered with disabled adults and children throughout high school and college and most recently was a full time nanny for a family with a toddler downs-syndrome. Every child, disabled or not, deserves a caregiver who will take the time to learn about their strengths and weaknesses and help them grow as a whole person. I am willing to take on challenges that the average babysitter might shy away from. I am fun and energetic and believe that art can be a bridge that spans across all abilities. I love to get creative hope to pursue a degree in art therapy in the future.
