About Jodee

As a wife and mother in her 40s, I have had much experience in caring for aging parents and grandparents and my family going through the difficult transition at the end of life. I find great joy in helping families care for their loved ones and feel blessed knowing I am being of service to both the families and individuals needing care. As a Christian, I have a servant's heart. I am also a certified yoga instructor and have had many years of experience working with elderly clients; helping them improve circulation and, if possible, balance. I enjoy reading, knitting, playing games like dominoes, gin and scrapbooking. I love hearing stories and sharing time with the elderly as they have had so much life experience. I also realize that sometimes this position can be demanding, requiring assisting with personal needs such as bathing and using the restroom. I am honored knowing that a family has entrusted me with their loved one. I am happy to help with meal preparation and assist in feeding, giving medications, light housework and laundry. I have my own transportation and can run errands including doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, or "Sunday driving" to allow my client a little outdoor time. I am hoping to find a family in the South Park, South Charlotte area I can serve.
