About Jocelyn

I have over 10 years of experience tutoring children grades K-12. As an educator, parents and students describe me as patient, knowledgeable, funny, and kind-hearted. Most of my experience is in teaching English to speakers of other languages, Spanish, and math. I started tutoring in a professional setting 14 years ago and I now hold a bilingual teaching credential through the state of California. I have multiple years of experience teaching in public schools in a bilingual elementary school program. I currently work as a fifth grade dual immersion teacher in the Bay Area. Over the years I have accumulated a breadth of tools to teach all learners. What I love about tutoring is adapting to each child's unique needs and finding creative teaching methods that the child enjoys. I look forward to meeting you!
