Positive Outgoing Funny I like caring for seniors because I've always been drawn to seniors. I feel that they are often forgotten once they age and I like to let them know they are remembered and seen. I've helped assist my parents as they got older and both had dementia so I have insider knowledge and want to help. I'm looking for a job where I can help seniors feel loved and also support their families and caregivers. I started caring for seniors when I was 18 years old. I started as a cook in a rest home and then worked as a nurse's aid in nursing homes. In my spare time, I like to walk my dogs, play golf, ride my bike and read. One thing you should know about me is I'm a very compassionate person with empathy for others. I'm kind, thoughtful, have a good sense of humor, and like to help others. I'm intelligent and have common sense. My skills include first aid training, prior experience and knowing how to work and talk with older people.
