About Joanie

Hi! My name is Joanie. I have been living in Southern Utah for a little over a decade. I graduated from Southern Utah University in 2016 with my bachelor's in psychology. Since graduating, I have been working at a couple elementary schools as a SPED aide and reading specialist. I recently decided to make elementary education my career path and am currently working towards my master's degree. As well as having experience working with children in a school setting, I have also volunteered in the nursery at my church for a few years and have done crafts with children staying . I also have much younger siblings (8 + 10 years old) whom I have been babysitting since they were born. I absolutely love working with kids! I believe it's so important for kids to be in nature and use their creativity by making things! I am looking forward to creating a safe and loving environment for your kid(s).
