Jessica and I worked together at CWA Local 1104, while I was an Executive Vice President of the Graduate Student Employee's Union. As an organizer in our union, she was instrumental in executing state wide mobilization plans with our members at SUNY Stony Brook and successfully aided our negotiating teams toward a contract deal with Research Foundation, and a year later with the State of New York and State University of New York. Jessica is an enthusiastic team member who works tirelessly to achieve group goals Together with Stony Brook Business Agents, she successfully maintained membership sign up quotas for the Research and GSEU divisions of CWA Local 1104. This enthusiasm for organizing also created a well-functioning structure where all members of our union at Stony Brook were kept well informed and involved in the negotiating processes that their groups were involved in. Jessica goes above and beyond what is required of her, as evidenced by her mobilizer trainings, and planned membership events coordinated with the Graduate Student Organization. Jessica was a dedicated, hardworking, organized & passionate member of our GSEU and RA teams who will be dearly missed. Given the opportunity, I would hire Jessica again.
