My family originally hired Jess for one month gig (July/Aug 2019) to take care of our 8 month old son before he started at daycare. After we had to pull him from daycare abruptly, Jess was able to start with us again and took care of our son for an additional year until we had to move (until the end of June 2020). Over the year, Jess has become part of our family and a second mom to our son. She has been dependable, flexible, communicative, and is extremely proactive - always helping out above and beyond what her 'duties' were (especially in the midst of covid). Most of all, she is a compassionate person who treats our son like he was her own. She has not only taken care of him, but she also teaches him new things (given her background working in childcare centers) and reinforces things we want him to learn. We will really miss her, and feel lucky to have had her in our life and son's life.
