I have been working with special needs children my entire life and have been working with special needs adults the past several years. I have experience working with multiple types of needs, including but not limited to Downs Syndrome, Autism, and Cerebal Palsy. I believe I have a calling to work with and help children and adults with special needs and love learning from everyone that I work with. I spent an entire summer as the head of the women's dorm at a state run special needs camp in Vermont, which gave me a mass amount of responsibilities. I am aware of/familiar with medications and medication times, special diet needs and preparation, physical limitations, emotional distress, cognitive skills and communication patterns.
