I have experience caring for a family of three boys, two of which had Cerebral Palsy. As a caregiver I helped the boys with feeding and personal hygiene, provided assistance with academics, as well as transportation to different services (e. g.- physical therapy and horseback riding, etc). I also enjoyed taking the boys into the community on outings and having fun playing games and being a kid again (yes, I have been caught in many costumes playing imagination games)! Through this family, I became the neighborhood babysitter and provided care for children of all ages/abilities. I also have experience in the educational setting. I personally enjoy caring for children as I came from a large family of five and am used to the chaos! I currently work as a Supervisor for an agency working with adults with developmental disabilities and can be available on a part time/as needed basis.
