About Jessica

I'd describe my personality as creative, adventurous, loyal. I like working with kids because they cause you to think in a different way and it is refreshing! I'm looking for a job where I can take kids to their element (whether it be a park, walk, or just outdoors) and encourage them to be kids. I grew up with 4 brothers and sisters. I have always been around kids in that way, but I started babysitting for money when I was 14 after taking a REMSA babysitting class. In my spare time, I like to do art (sew, crochet, paint, draw etc.), go for walks and hikes with friends, cook, ski (water and snow), listen to podcasts, and play volleyball with my siblings. One thing you should know about me is I am a very interactive babysitter who loves to plan activities for kids like art projects or adventures. My skills include conflict management, individualized care, and calm in overwhelming and stressful situations.
