I'm a military wife. I temporarily work full-time as a CBT providing ABA therapy for children with autism. In terms of education, I have a B. A. degree in Psychology. My background with children consists of babysitting throughout college and special education teaching. I'd describe my personality as caring, empathetic, and conscientious. I like working with kids, because I enjoy helping them grow and learn everyday tasks to help them succeed. In my spare time, I like to travel, take staycations, and watch period classics. Katie (Jessica) has been an incredible caregiver this summer for our child. We have a 5 year old with severe ADHD. Katie was patient, kind, thoughtful, and solutions oriented. She transported him to/from camps, took him on outings (park, children's museum, movies) and supervised playdates. She made sure he ate lunch every day and took his mid day medication. She learned his rhythms and to discern when it was time for a break/reset. Katie is communicative, punctual and an all around fantastic caregiver. I would recommend her for any child and particularly neurodivergent kiddos. She's the best!
