About Jessica

I have worked in the Writing Center at the University of Toledo for nearly 3 years. During that time, I have worked one-on-one with ESL, undergraduate, and some graduate students. I have also had the opportunity to assist a college composition lecturer during a summer program that helps bridge the gap between high school and college for historically underrepresented student populations. In this position, I also facilitated study tables, where the students we able to ask questions about their classes and learn good study habits. Outside of tutoring, I have facilitated instructional workshops and assisted with tutor training sessions. Due to adding a second major I am on a five-year track, set to graduate May 2017 with a BA in both English and History.
