About Melina

Excited you're here! My name is Melina & I'm a local tutor/homeschool teacher. I have 8+ years experience and a B. S. in Mathematics & Economics from UC San Diego. I provide in-home help in all subjects K-8 and all math up to & including Algebra/Calculus/Statistics. I currently offer help full time and take weekly clients with a min 2 day commitment. In the past 3 years, I have specialized in helping homeschool families or providing supplemental tutoring. Many of my contracts have been with struggling readers K -2, homeschool help, and in-depth math tutoring. I am not a "one size fits all", I approach every student differently although I do love keeping things engaging & fun! I'm currently filling my schedule for the 2023 school year. I work in Menifee, French Valley, North Temecula, and Hemet. Scheduling will largely base on location. I enjoy camping, hiking, snorkeling (with sharks!), lake days, reading and oh - I absolutely love my job!
