Hi! I am Jennifer, a recent graduate from Spelman college and I have over 5 years of paid experience working with children; specifically children with problem behavior and/or special needs. I currently work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder of all ages and functioning levels, providing intense treatment as defined in their individualized behavior plan, data collection, and intervening to block and/or reduce problem behaviors (mostly aggression). I was employed, for 2 years, by AmeriCorps as a Jumpstart member where I actively contributed to developing literacy and cognitive abilities in children 3-5, through modeling, reading comprehension, and dramatic play. I have also worked for Lifetime Fitness as a Summer Camp Counselor and Part-time Kids Activity Supervisor.
