About Jennie

Being the oldest by 9 yrs of all my cousins, I have been changing diapers and babysitting since I was 10. I taught Sunday school during my high school years and have always loved working with children. I see children as equals and treat them with the same respect I would any other human. I am patient and have a tendency to be calm even in the most chaotic situations, while still executing what needs to be done. I was working professionally as a hair colorist for 17 years and during my training years for extra income I babysat in NYC during the evenings and on my days off. I have experience with newborns, toddlers, up to pre teens and babysat 9 kids once (they were cousins ranging from 9 mths - 11 yrs old) with a friend of mine. I gave up my career after having a bone marrow transplant because I wasn't able to work during recovery and am in the midst of a career change. I'm reliable and punctual and once made a stop animation music video with kids I was sitting for.
