I have worked for an organization in NY the past 7 years that services children and young adults. I have provided instruction and care to students with a wide range of disabilities including, but not limited to Autism, Developmentally Disabled, Emotionally Disabled, Physically Disabled, Non-Verbal, etc. I recently relocated to the Ft. Lauderdale area, Pompano Beach, and am looking to continue my work with these types of children. I am not limited to students with special needs, it is just an added bonus that I have learned a special skill with patience and compromise. I hold certification in NY (which will be transferred here to FL soon) in Pre-K - 6th Grade, Students with Disabilities 1st-6th Grade, and Literacy Instruction Birth - Grade 12. I am enthusiastic, fun, creative, and full of energy. I also love animals! I am currently seeking employment in a school setting so I can do care during the day, but will look to do after school care once I secure employment. I was a lifeguard for 11 years so have been certified in SPR, SED, First Aid, and Lifeguard instructor. I am looking into becoming certified in CPR, AED and First Aid again. I love water - swimming in it, playing in it, pools, the ocean, the sprinkler, etc.
