Hello! My name is Jean. I recently moved to the Laguna Niguel area from Santa Barbara where I spent the last 6 years being a full-time/part-time/occasional caregiver, working with children ages 5 months to 7 years old. Previously doing occasional babysitting for over 10 years while in college. I have a bachelors degree from San Diego State in Art, Classics, and Psychology. I am educated in child development and so I understand all the different needs of growing children. I've worked with toddlers who show early signs of autism and speech delay. I prescribe to a child-led play approach. I am very kind, patient, empathetic, understanding & loving, and when I am around children, all of these qualities are exemplified even more. As an art enthusiast, I love to do arts & crafts and be creative. My hobbies include photography, painting, hiking, reading, listening to/playing music, and traveling. I also love being outdoors and maintaining an active lifestyle. I am CPR & AED certified.

Jean is amazing! She is everything we could have asked for in a Nanny plus more. We used her 3-4 times a week to help our parents watch two babies (who are cousins about the same age), from the time they were 5 months up until about a year old. Jean also watched our little one by herself for full days while we were at work. She was excellent at communicating with us how the day was going and if there was anything we needed to be aware of. This really kept us at ease and made us super confident that we were leaving our baby in good hands. She is also a skilled photographer so expect her to send you some amazing pictures of your little ones. Jean is an incredibly kind person who is patient, gentle, and highly skilled at taking care of young children. Without hesitation, I would recommend Jean to any family looking for a trustworthy person to look after their child.
