I am a very kind and adventurous person and these qualities seem to shine when I'm around with children. I think all children should be treated with the same respect you would show an adult, so children grow up understanding the value of respect at a young age. I truly believe the key to happy kids is great communication and an open mind. I'm an artist so I love exposing kids to different types of art such as dance, painting and theater. I have a genuine love for kids of all ages and hope to ease the stress of some hardworking parents! I would describe my childcare style as playful with a serious side. I know how to have a good time and love rewarding good behavior but I also know how to demand respect when needed. I'm very understanding and don't believe kids should be talking down to or ignored by sitters. Outdoor activities and art projects are things I like to involve in everyday routines. In the past, I have taken care of kids between the ages of 1-10.

Jazzie is watching my 2 year old son everyday now. She is very kind and energetic. She is full of ideas and knowledge to keep him happy. He is very energetic and hyper but she is really good at handling him. I am asking her to watch him for only 2 hours a day and she uses the short 2 hours really efficiently. Playing outside on our patio and playing inside everyday. He enjoys playing on the swing, tricycle, slide or some activities outside. He also enjoys playing blocks, coloring, flash cards, etc., inside of the house. She always brings some fun stuff and amuses him. I was amazed the other day that she brought baking soda and a bottle of water and let my son touch the white powder first and then added water and showed what happened. He really enjoyed the change of the baking soda. She has a lot of ideas to keep him busy and fun. We have a lot of toys here but she provides her knowledge and intelligence. She is young but she is like a preschool teacher. She just doesn't let him do whatever he wants, but she warns and teaches him what would happen if he is about to do something dangerous. I really rely on her and feel comfortable to let her watch my son completely. So far, I asked her to watch my triplets as well as my son twice and she did excellent job. It is not easy to watch all 4 small kids by yourself but she could keep them all happy. My triplets absolutely loved her from the beginning. I really love her and she is a such a wonderful nanny!
