About Javiera

Hi! My name is Javiera, but I typically go by Javi I have two college degrees - Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Bachelor's Degree in English. I am currently in two different Graduate programs - one at Syracuse University's online program for Library Science and the second one at CUNY Queen's College TESOL Education program. I speak fluent Spanish, and I can tutor in English and Social Studies, and Science and Math depending on the grade and subject. I have some knowledge of beginner to low-intermediate Italian too. Also, having worked with students and having taken some of the State tests and regents, I have experience in test preparation too. I have a vast amount of tutoring experience through private tutoring as well as directing local non-profit tutoring programs. I encourage finding a study plan that works for each individual child as well as not only providing tutoring for a designated subject area, but to develop organizational and study skills. Thanks!
