About Janna

The pet sitter for people whose kids have paws! I started working with animals when I was in grad school to become an occupational therapist (OT). I use my education in therapy, and my special interest in trauma-informed care and the (human) nervous system in my work with animals which has created a special experience both for me and the families I work with. I honor the autonomy, preferences, and personality of all animals and use a pet-first approach in my care. This means you'll often find me on the floor with your pets, cuddled up with them in their favorite spot(s), and giving lots of treats and praise. The majority of my clients are repeat clients! It's important to me that the families I connect with have peace of mind while they are away, so I work to develop a trusting, compassionate relationship with them and their pets.
