Hello! My name's Janine, I am a college graduate from SUNY Cortland where I studied Recreational Therapy, which is essentially using recreation to enhance individual's overall well being. Through my college's program, I've had the opportunity to lead an after school recreation program and be involved in the kid's recess to promote inclusivity at elementary. I also assisted leading Sunday School at my local Church with kids varying from 1st to 5th grade and have done service learning in the adult facility at the Greater Binghamton Health Center. With that being said I am a people person who loves to have fun with others no matter their abilities/differences. My experience most recently has been in the geriatric population as a recreational therapist at a nursing home. I have been babysitting on the side and am more than happy to provide references from the families.
