About Jane

I am a retired pediatric occupational therapist (30 yrs.) and have 3 grown boys. My graduate-level education and professional experience working w/children w/variety of special needs supports my ability to provide experiences which facilitate a child's development and enhance their learning. I have a friendly personality and use a creative approach to make learning fun. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and love engaging kids with outdoor sports, board games, arts and craft, pretend, explorative and educational activities. I communicate with parents through verbal updates at pickup and always respect their preferred method of communication. I can comfortably care for up to three children and enjoy children of all ages. Now that I am retired, I think caregiving will provide me with the wonderful opportunity to continue to make a positive impact on the lives of children.
