About Janell

Hello! My name is Janell and I am 25 years old. I'm a Mass Communications Major at SHSU. On my free time I enjoy taking care of my plants (and buying more!), finding new coffee spots, sharing with friends or staying home with my dogs. I also enjoy learning learning new skills and expanding my knowledge on just about anything. I have 4 years of experience working with children in different settings (daycare, babysitting, Montessori, nanny); fluent in English and Spanish. I like to teach children through the power of art. Exploring their creative minds through meaningful, self-paced, fun activities is essential to their development and autonomy. I believe that building a bond is important when working with children because this gives them the opportunity to express themselves fully.
