About Jane

I am a highly skilled nanny with over 10 years of experience working with children. I began my professional nanny career in 2016. As a caregiver, I am patient and attentive. My approach with children is one based on respect and fostering a child's independence. My background in gender studies informs my approach to engaging with children's curiosities about other people. I am adept at attending to the emotional, educational, physical, and behavioural needs of children 0-10 years. I have experience working with newborns, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, multiples, and children who have ASD & ADHD. My childcare philosophy is based on a combination of some of my favourite approaches, including Montessori, RIE/Pikler,. I speak French, know a little bit of ASL, and I am new to Philadelphia (originally from Montreal). I am fully vaccinated, certified in Basic First Aid & CPR-AED, and very COVID conscious. Currently working full time, only available for date nights.
