I have been a Caregiver for a loved one who survived 2 strokes, Dementia and RA. I have been a foster Care caregiver for emotionally challenged children. I have also been a volunteer caregiver for The Meriwether Foundation a veterans service organization. I enjoy the role of companion as well. I was a companion to a young lady of 81 with brain disease for 3 years traveling between her home in Palm desert and her apartment in long beach. I was with her daily and some evenings and managed all activities for her including bill paying, home maintenance socialization and entertainment. I would keep track of her meds and behavioral changes and liaison with her home health care professionals.
