Vikki is a very intelligent, creative, energetic, upbeat woman with a broad skill set. She thinks of everything and has delivered so much more than I expected from a caregiver. One of her best qualities was to find safe, enjoyable things to do together with my mom. My mom is very resistant, so this was an astonishing accomplishment. They shared many good times together. After hiring Vikki, my blood pressure dropped as my worry, frustration and work load dissipated. I will miss her detailed behavior reports, her "I can fix it" attitude, and the smell of freshly baked, mood-elevating chocolate chip cookies wafting around the house. She's also a fantastic cook, and any meal prepared by Vikki is plated beautifully, as if being served in a fine dining establishment. And no, I am not making this stuff up!!

Caregiver Specialized In Dementia/Alzheimer's

(9)
I started working with an assisted living on the east coast straight out of college back in 2007 as the Assisted Living Director and eventually transitioned into the Memory Care Director position and fell in love with that population, and most importantly with care giving for them. I left my company and moved to California to ultimately start my own Residential Care Facilities for Elderlies specializing in Dementia and while working on that project have been doing care giving jobs. I received my license in Nov of 2019 to be an Administrator for the state of CA in order to be able to open my small business but due to the Coronavirus everything has been put on hold. I have been taking care of a woman suffering from Dementia but once again, due to Coronavirus and her family now working from home , they've chosen to discontinue the position indefinitely. In the meantime , I am looking to fill my days the only way I know how and it's to care for others.

Cyrielle only worked with my mom for a short period, but Cyrielle has been a tremendous resource and an incredible help. She provided compassionate and loving care to my mom at the end of her life. Cyrielle has a lot of experience with Alzheimer's and was always providing helpful suggestions to make my mom more comfortable. I feel very lucky that we had her expertise and kindness for my mom. Cyrielle continues to work for our family.

A little about me, I am passionate about care-giving and the medical field. I love what I do. I have 7 years of experience in care-giving. I have experience in Dementia, Alzheimer's Disease, incontinence care, diabetes, fall-risk, post-surgery, and various other conditions. I pay attention to detail, so any change of behavior or in condition I take proper procedures to ensure the best outcome for my client and my client's family. I know how important it is for the family to be involved and have good communication intact. I follow HIPPA laws and respect my client and the family's privacy. I have my CNA/CHHA license, and I am CPR certified. I also have reliable transportation, and do not mind taking my client to their appointments, and other errands. I chose this field because of my sister. My sister had Down-Syndrome and required around the clock care. This lead me to care-giving. I strongly believe in treating my clients like I would family with dignity, care, and respect.

I've been working as a caregiver for 15 years. I am still willing to learn more that could level up my skills in caregiving for the benefits of my clients. I treat my patients with dignity and respect, understanding, love, and eventually considered me as part of the family. I do believe that providing quality care to the elderly is a noble job, that's why I'm very passionate and always on the top of everything when it comes to the needs of my client. A tender loving care that I'm showing to my patients is the greatest gift that God has given me to help them feel more comfortable and peaceful in their lives despite of the challenges they're going through. Being a caregiver is not an easy job. It's a calling, for people who have the beautiful heart inside and out, treat someone as a human being through the image of God. And I am one of them with the golden heart.

Jetro is an absolutely incredible caregiver! He is caring, compassionate and incredibly skilled. He provided a sense of peace and calm when he cared for my Dad. During my Dad's last few months, Jetro was such a valuable asset to our family, caring for my Dad and supporting all of us through this difficult process. He was always so gentle with my Dad when we had to move or change him. Jetro is extremely respectful of the family's wishes and concerns. My Mom wanted to provide the personal care to my Dad as long as possible and Jetro used his skills to assist her by providing all the heavy lifting in order to keep both of them safe. We love Jetro and he truly became a part of our family! I would highly recommend Jetro as a caregiver. He truly has a gift and his skills allow him to provide high quality care for clients through end of life with true grace and compassion.
