I have dedicated the last 20 years of my life to working with individuals with emotional/behavioral issues, primarily children and their families. I'm ready for a break that will give me some time in a lower pressure environment. The problem is that I'm not ready for a break from kids. As an undergraduate, I was a nanny and really enjoyed being able to spend time with the children, play with them, teach them, sing with them, and do activities. I'm looking for a family that would like their child to be cared for by someone with some knowledge about their difficulties. I can promise you patience, out of the box thinking and some silliness and laughter. I'm willing to commit for at least a year.
