About Jamie

I like working with animals because they are fun, funny, sweet little furry souls that I adore. Most animals I've had the pleasure of caring for love me because I play with them, go on walks, trips to the beach (when I lived in San Diego) let them lay all over me, cuddle with them, give treats (when it's allowed) and just treat them like a buddy. Each animal is unique and I love figuring out what each one is like. Give me animals over people any day! I started working with animals when I was a kid. Neighbors had me walking their dogs and checking in on them if they were out of town. I've always connected well with animals because I try to make them feel loved, safe and someone they can trust to be around. One thing you should know about me is I will treat your pets like my own furry family members. I went vegan (but I'm not preachy) mainly because of my love of animals. I've had jobs taking care of pets and children since I was 12 years old and probably will until I'm 80!
