About James, Jr.

With years of experience in schools combined with training in a Masters of Education program, I can your help your child learn how to learn. For the past two years, I have worked as an instructional assistant for elementary and middle schools in Math, English and special education. I previously worked as a high school teacher for several years, and then had a long career in corporate training. As a volunteer, I coached youth soccer and tutored English as a second language. I completed graduate coursework in Instructional Design. I love the process of learning. Because each child has their own style of learning, I assess this process and tailor my instruction accordingly. To achieve excellent outcomes, I patiently and enthusiastically engage my students in a fun environment. As Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember.
