This letter is my personal recommendation for Jamesha. My best friend, who had been diagnosed with ALS, met Jamesha through an ALS advocate. Jamesha has been the primary caregiver to her for two years. While I am her POA for medical issues, Jamesha is her constant caregiver. I have worked closely with Jamesha and have found her to be consistently pleasant, tackling all assignments with dedication and a cheerful attitude. Besides being a joy to work with, Jamesha is a take charge person who is able to present creative ideas and communicate the benefits. She has been an advocate for my friend's health care and has tirelessly worked to locate and coordinate the shipment and installation of her medical equipment. She not only assists with her personal care, she also does the grocery shopping, runs errand, takes her to her medical appointments, helps her with her medication, coordinates home visits by outside medical personnel as needed, and has a close relationship with her physician's offices. We found Jamesha to be an invaluable asset when we faced the daunting task of interviewing hospice providers. Although hospice is still down the road, it was a comfort to have her assist in the interview process and provide her insight into the process. While caring for my friend, Jamesha has also been able to complete her studies at the University of South Carolina. Balancing work and school is no easy task. She has managed both with grace and perseverance. I would highly recommend Jamesha for employment. She is capable of working on her own and is also a team player, when necessary. She is dependable and constant in our daily life and has made a big difference in how we go about our daily life dealing with this devastating illness. She is a totally trustworthy individual and would make a great asset to any organization. Sincerely, Dona
